I’m a writer aiming at traditional publishing. Here are a few current, past and future projects, if you’re curious!

About me

I’m a fabulously bipolar non-binary writer from the South Wales Valleys, where “ear”, “here” and “year” are all pronounced the same, and a thin layer of nature has been carefully laid over the top of black coal heaps and contaminated rivers.

I have two ex-racing greyhounds and would adopt more if they’d fit in the car. They’re high prey-drive dogs, so I’m a huge muzzle advocate, keeping other animals safe from my leggy goofs. Colour co-ordination is key when dressing your hounds.

I work as a software tester at an awesome B-corp (saving the planet, you’re welcome!), and after hours I host Shut Up and Write and Online Creative Collective sessions to help other writers focus on getting words on the page. I’m an active member of many online and private writing communities, and I love nothing more than to uplift others – there’s no point in succeeding on your own, after all!

I also read a LOT, especially new middle-grade releases and beta manuscripts. This year, I had to get rid of my TV to make more room for bookshelves.

Oh, and I used to be an Iron Age warrior and basket weaver. You know, just because.
